Teddy's tummy

Since we had Teddy he's had a sensitive tummy. After lots of change of food and back again, antibiotics and probiotics, touch wood, I think he's back to normal.
The vets started him with a change of food to Royal Canin sensitivity wet and dry and Pro-Kolin paste (this paste is a life safer and everyone should have one spare in their cupboard). This sorted him out with in a few days and all was fine... Until he got neutered and wormed. It really messed him up again and we used the paste which didn't seem to work as well this time. Another vet visit and we had antibiotics , more paste and Royal Canin gastro-intestinal. He was sorted again within a few days, I've gradually got him back on the dry kitten food but still continuing with the sensitive wet as it works for him and he loves it!

It's been a while...

Since getting the boys I haven't been very good at updating the blog, they are so time consuming!

They are now 7 months old and are absolutely huge!! We can't imagine now having them with us anymore, they are just part of the family. The boys used to be shut out of our bedroom at night to avoid being woken up, but I persuaded Chris to let them in with us a few months ago! Teddy does wake us up at 6.30 every morning but nevermind.
They are such fun to be with and want to be with you all the time, wherever you are, which is so nice as I don't know many cats who are interested in that who aren't Ragdolls.
Here are some recent pictures anyway..

5 months old

It's been a little while since I've been on here, it's more difficult as my spare time is playing with the little ones!! So they've just passed the 5 month mark which means we've nearly had them for 2 months now :) They are just the most handsome perfect pair of kittens. Their personalities are so different. Teddy is very needy, follows you around meowing wanting to be carried everywhere and cuddled and to lay on you!! Pookey is so chilled out, hardly meows at all and is so loving. Not always wanting to lay on you, but will have a paw somewhere on you!!
I weighed them yesterday and Teddy is now 5.6lbs and Pookey is 6.4lbs. Not long after we bought them home I realised the cat tree I had before was way too small and decided to get on amazon and order a new one which they can't get enough of. Chase each other all over it, and sleep on it all the time ( when they aren't sleeping in the bed with us!! )
Here's a few new pictures of them. The two of them sitting on their own on the carpet are from yesterday at 5 months old

Clever boys!!

After Pookey shocked is with his fetching I decided this morning to try sit with both of them, they figured it out in seconds! Also they have figured out paw as well! Haven't managed to get a video as doing it when Chris is out. They sit next to each other all cute taking waiting for their turn. I've been using treats but they can only have a few of those a day, so been taking some kibble out of the bowl and using that, they love it just as much!!

All settled in

We've had the babies for just over a week now and they are completely settled in and seem really happy. They are extremely playful and naughty but we love them!! They chase each other around when they are awake, and sleep together when they've calmed down. If we are at home they sleep next to us wherever we are!! It's so much fun having them around and so nice just to cuddle up to them when we are watching the tv!

Home now!!

Well we travelled to Cambridge on Friday and managed to visit them before we picked them up yesterday which made me feel so much better about bringing them home. The way home they cried for the first half an hour but after that they spent the remaining 3 hours snoozing. As soon as I opened their crate they were out wandering around giving everything a sniff! They ate and used the litter tray straight and settled straight in! They both follow us around everywhere, Teddy more than Pookey. The first night we left them to stay in the lounge and the hallway and shut them out of the bedroom. Then when I woke up I opened the door and they came to lay on the bed with us for a few hours. They have settled in so well and couldn't wish for lovelier kittens!!

Time for a nap

Tanya sent me a few new cute pictures of the babies, in very comfy looking positions I must say!! Teddy is the one practically falling off the sofa by the way!
We are now 2 weeks and 4 days (not that I'm counting!!) away from pick up day :) we are traveling the 3 hours to Cambridge on the Friday morning, spending the day having a look around and finding somewhere nice to eat. Then staying in a hotel and travelling up the rest of the way to Tanya's on Saturday morning.
